1. Analysis Stage - Site and Business Objectives

During this stage we focus on understanding your business and your web site visitors.

You will first complete a comprehensive questionnaire about your landing page objectives, target market and relevant information, followed by a review session over the phone. The scope of the review is to ensure we get all questions answered and possible doubts are clarified. We will work together to identify and define the key metrics, which we will be using to measure the success of our services.

Next, we will install and configure (if not already done) web analytics tool for your website. We will analyze the performance of the existing landing pages to identify issues and also identify user patterns.

2. Concept Stage - Landing Page Design

At this stage our focus is to create the most persuasive and compelling landing page.The analysis phase provides insights on how visitors reached your website and how they interacted with it. We use analytics data to analyze the performance of your existing landing pages, visitors' behaviour and other useful data.

Our optimization team will create a persuasive landing page based on the data gathered from the web analytics tool, the answers to the questionnaire, the phone consultation and other strategies like competitor analysis.

The design files are then sent to you for approval and fine tuning. Once approved, the files will be integrated into html/css. In most cases, your IT team will have to integrate the new design with the existing website, to make the interactive page elements (forms and buttons) work properly. We can always provided assistance if needed.

3. Testing Stage – Guaranteed Conversion Rate Lift

We use Google’s testing analysis tool, Website Optimizer, to create and manage the optimization test. At this point we consult and agree with you on the minimum confidence level of the test (tells you how sure you can be of the test results), according to your landing page traffic and realistic expectations..

Once we have created the test and the necessary changes are implemented on your website, we will launch the test and start monitoring its performance. For low traffic landing pages, we usually run A/B tests (two completely redesigned pages) and for medium and high traffic web sites we can run either A/B tests or multivariate tests (multiple variations of page elements).

We recommend that you run the tests for at least two weeks, and taking into consideration of weekends, seasonal spikes in traffic and other marketing initiatives that might affect the test results. Depending on your website traffic and the confidence level we agreed on, the testing process take between two weeks to eight weeks. We don’t recommend running tests for more than 8 weeks.
